The Reloka Foundation

The Reloka (Re-Inventing local production) Foundation envisions
an inclusive society, where everyone regardless of their differences
and vulnerabilities can enjoy equal opportunities and
economically thrive with respect for their abilities, indigenous
culture and without damaging the natural environment.

Reloka works to enable extra challenged women and men in
Timor-Leste to create sustainable, independent lives with dignity.
Through our programs we aim to increase economic empowerment
by inclusion, capacity-building, introducing production
opportunities, and access to markets.
Reloka works with groups of women and men who are extra
challenged in life because of their situation. An example of
people that we work with are women and men with disabilities,
women and men in prison and women in very rural communities.
These groups lack the opportunities to develop economic activities
that can provide them with an income and thus their
independence. They have in common that they encounter
discrimination, lack of self-determination, are often excluded
from education and they have less knowledge about and access
to markets.

The Reloka foundation is registered with the Ministry of Justice
no: 86/DNRN-DGSRN/MJ/III/2023 and Ministry of Finance with TIN
no 4998563.
